You think Vince is winding us up? Doubt he'd go to the trouble tbf. I've spoken to my brother-in-law, who happens to be Koko B Ware, and he's confirmed that there is something in it.

Shame really, would love to have the expression on people's faces when the new Big Man up front turned out to be Triple H.

"I'm afraid the referee says that you're not allowed to take a sledgehammer on to the pitch Mr H and I'm also told that the other players aren't too happy about some of the comments you've made about them in the media calling them small, weak, B+ players who are nowhere near as good as you".

Pepe the Horseman @charles_watts: I've been told that the man behind the US bid is WWF's Vince McMahon.

Could be interesting if true.

Love this quote: "Vince McMahon, the chairman of WWE described by the Mirror as "a bona fide, 110% certifiable maniac". Will fit right in with the Mad Man, then.

Spookily enough, we're announcing a WWE bill in Riyadh today.

I'd be very surprised if Vince McMahon has anything to do with this.

Easy catch for Pepe.

Vinnie Mac is more likely to set up the XPL to rival the established status quo, starting a new top flight from scratch, than buy into the existing set up anyway, Shirley?

Why are people arguing with the insurmountable evidence for Vinnie Mac's imminent takeover?

He's right, Alfie does need to show a bit of respect to the club who plucked him from lower league and gave him a chance.

Adkins needs to show the club some respect as well though and the best way to do that is for him to resign.

Go on then list your reasoning. I have seen a lot of this rally cry and haven't actually seen reasoning for it.

madstadblues Couple of questions regarding ownership and investment, do the FFP rules cover the amount of debt a club can have in relationship to turnover and is the investment allowed also restricted in relationship to turnover. Would these new rules stop a super rich owner be allowed to spend shed loads cash ? :?

I read a quote last week from Phil Gartside about Bolton's debt that made me shudder a bit.

‘We are moving towards a self-sustainable future, because financial support given by owners is no longer possible in this league without severe penalty,’ said Gartside.

That's why things like the Hotel are so important now. It beings in additional income. We need our fingers in as many pots as possible.

No idea if the Hotel is inclusive with any takeover but a deal to flog failed last year, so could well be on the cards.
