He's quicker than Jobi, who was a pretty successful LW, IIRC.

Obita's managed to beat defenders plenty of times with a combination of pace and skill. He just needs more experience of attacking defenders to get properly good at it, and to know when to go, when to hold and when to give.

Surely just a couple of plays of John Barnes' sage advice on World In Motion would sort that out. FFS do our coaching staff know nothing.

It says much for the loyalty of our squad, that no-one ever bids for the Players we have left! Lower Division teams have realised that our guys are ALL willing to die for the Hoops and a bid is a waste of time! Strangely, Premiership teams appear to want skill, ball-control, a football brain and the ability to fit into a team. They are'nt targetting our players either. Funny that!

Reading and Exeter are the only teams in the top four divisions not to have signed a player.

The race is on.

I wonder if the partnership thing could be a means of accessing their pennies earlier, rather than waiting for the test to be completed? Presumably by becoming 'partners' they have some sort of claim to a portion of the club.

I think I'd top myself if I was as miserable as you all the time.

Just let him get on with it, he's just trying to wind people up. Of course, by taking the pessimistic view of a club like ours, he will eventually be right. Let him relish his 'victory'.

Perhaps we can buy our top scorer back now that the tax bill has been paid rather than go for a lesser version in Billy Sharp.
Good to see that the club is now looking at bringing players in and Adkins must be relieved that at long last he may have the opportunity to prove himself without his hands being tied behind his back.
