TBMPeterReadingborn59madstadblues Heard Dean Kiely is on his way in as GK Coach. If so, you have to think International and Premiership Experience trumps Conference and being a 'good mate'
Could be SC knows Dean Kiely from his time at WBA and might be good mates?
But certainly a positive move for RFC if it happens.
He's 44 now - bit old to be Feds replacement

Ian RoyalMr Angry All the news that some of the backroom staff are moving on does is give people like Ian Royal a chance to have another go at Clarke, simply because Adkins got the sack.
Frankly, thanks for everything guys and good luck with your future careers and all that, but to read some of the posts on this thread you would have thought the sky had just fallen in (and that was also Steve Clarke's fault).
Don't put me in sandman's camp. I'm anti Clarke because he's done a demonstrably poor job, nothing to do with the previous manager.

Don't use me to deflect attention away from yourself.
You are a massive hypocrite. Despite your protestations you are doing the exact same thing with Clarke that you accused others of doing to Adkins when he took over from McDermott. Difference of course being that McDermott had achieved something to deserve being defended whereas Adkins did not.

multisync1830 Word is Clarke is throwing his weight around and acting like he's some 'master of the universe' type and the board is shrugging their shoulders in a "You know what these managers are like" way.
Of course they are in a tricky spot, they have to be seen to back him so he can get away with stuff. The odd win and cup run seems to have gone to his head somewhat
He's talking the talk so let's see what pans out..
