John Madejski's Wallet Yeah hopefully Pauno now realised Semedo is a reserve player at best

After 45 minutes? Nothing like giving someone a chance....

BR0B0T Line drawn using the cut of the grass and then copied and dragged

That doesn’t look parallel with the edge of the box.

As Zip posted, a moment of vision from Ejaria and our second shot on target in the last 1.5.
Ian might be enjoying it but I hope we will see a bit more attacking play in the rest of this game and for the rest of the season.

Good scoreline, entertainment minimal (so far).

Hound Wasn’t really any last ditch defending - they got behind us once or twice but they’ve had 2 off target shots

Yep. Haven't looked particularly threatened at the back. Being attacked a bit more than the past really. But Rotherham don't have an attack that's very scary.

This is just the pattern of our play. I think we look dangerous whenever we go forward. A lot of the time it breaks down, but we know we only need a couple to not break down and we're likely winners.

Rotherham pressing well.

We need to be sharper.

obvs difficult to see this way and is reliant on the penalty box being entirely straight (not sure it is)

John Madejski's Wallet 1 chance 1 goal.

Lovely 8)

Yeah, but we should be losing because xgoals.

why do you shit on that stat...it's probabilistic and I know you're smart enough to understand it

there is only one player to consistently outscore their xG over a continuous 5 year period and that's Messi

i.e. we do not have 'better' finishers

Because weirdos seem to think it's some sort of gospel rather than a not very good prediction tool that's a bit better than anything else.

oxf*rd Rotherham. Comments on their pre-match thread saying they’ll beat us and we’ll be back in our normal place soon... remind me how often they’ve finished above us?

What's the longest they've survived in the Championship over the last 20 years?

In the last 20 years is the best they’ve managed is 4 successive seasons

2001/02 finished 21st
2002/03 finished 15th
2003/04 finished 17th
2004/05 finished 24th

And 3 seasons more recently

2014/15 finished 21st
2015/16 finished 21st
2016/17 finished 24th

Their best overall run at Div 2 level is 17 seasons between 1951/52 and 1967/68

I wonder when the last time they finished top half was.

We invite it though - teams know we don’t seem to play quickly, if we had constant runners and quick one touch passes they could be turned easily and would probably sit deeper - but we don’t, and they don’t.

That weather is gross. I really miss being in the stands, however, missing the bus queue Is an appealing upside to the global pandemic.

In the absence of quality and dominating games we win at a canter, I'll take just winning comfortably thanks.

It's not me that wanted to switch from a manager advocating high tempo aggression to patient passing out from the back

Ejaria has abnormally skinny forearms.
