Svlad Cjelli Peopel definitley have been caught and banned for it - the club does watch out for it.

Great thing to ban somebody for.

TBF, they're only banned after being caught doing it repeatedly - i.e. when it's shown that it's a concerted effort, rather than a single oversight.

I've often thought it strange that the club have never tried to attract any uni students to the ground as Man City do. It's walking distance from the campus, and even 100 more tickets sold per match would be something.

East Stand Ste
Cobi
Z175 We have a bizarre number of Young Royals...

This is how my nephews pay for their football. They use kids members cards, bring their adult card with them in case they get checked, produce the adult, get waved through and swipe the kids card.

That is oxf*rd genius!

They've been doing it for years. I would too but of course the downside is you lose points, and the fact that I'm the sort that would look guilty as sin and get caught.

tomrfcurz Surely the green and amber light would prove to the steward on the other side they are using a junior's card?

Have you ever noticed a steward watching people swipe? We haven't. Plus if you're careful about it you brush the wall on your way in blocking anyones view from behind, swipe close to your chest and go in.

Red Hi Cobi - welcome to the board.

Thanks Red.

SymonsO The light isn't only on the wall, it is above the exit as you walk through the turnstyle in to the stadium. It is very obvious to anyone who is watching people walk in the gates.

Yep - all depends how switched on and dedicated the particular steward is ..... and how bothered they are to save the club money, considering the hassle they'd have to enforce this as an individual.

SymonsO My brother got "caught" doing this, although it was my fault.

I thought he was within the concession age bracket and bought his ticket for the game and upon entering the stadium he got collared entering with a concession ticket when in fact he was 4 months too old for a concession. I should have known his age I guess..

Anyway, if we wanted to see the game we had to buy another ticket for the same seat so had to pay for the concession ticket and the adult ticket.

I was a bit frustrated as the card was in his name and had over 1000 points on it that showed concession tickets up until about 4 months ago and adult tickets since then. I did point this out and hoped they would see it was an honest mistake judging by the previous ticket purchases and the fact I had bought the ticket and have 1600+ points of adult tickets on my card, however, the ticket staff weren't so understanding and genuinely believed we were trying to cheat the system on purpose.

I'd just boycott RFC in such a situation. Their loss.
