Sunderland will probably win it by a goal, hopefully not more.

Could be a dreadful 0-0 game or 1-1 if we manage to fluke a goal and then inevitably concede. Excuse me for being optimistic.

Dunker Maybe it's because I'm at an all time low, and now starting to lose my previously unshakable faith in BM, but I'm reckoning we'll lose 2-1.

Think we might have rock bottom so to speak, so 2-1 to Reading.

Defeat and Brian goes.

Same team as Saturday except for Pearce, not sure what other changes he can make as we now have a worryingly long injury list.

Sunderland 0
Reading 0

A utterly poor game with zero excitement , why am I making the 750 mile round trip to watch this game, I must be mad,
Anyone know the best pubs up there for a few per-match beers?

Can vouch for that. Shame the original game was called off as we had quite a decent support up there on that occasion...full of hope and expectation.

Anybody turning up for this game deserves a medal and anything else the club wants to offer as an incentive. Cos let's face it, under the current circumstances, you'd have to be a diehard to make this journey. And what exactly they'll be full of this time I wouldn't like to say

We will lose unless we play a different side and tactics. GUTHRIE needs to play plus McCleary and Kebe needs to be involved. We must get more shots on goal too.

However, as we have seen Brian is unable to make any bold decisions so I think we will lose.
Taking Tabb off when clearly Leig was awful and then doing the most mind numblingly stupid thing of putting jm in central midfield is nuts! We are in the PL now Brian wake up!

Really after we have failed to win at Sunderland Brian must go.

Gunny go to Wetherspoons mate. Drinks are dirt cheap, good atmosphere and not far from ground.

Can vouch for that, as that's where we were when the news broke about the original game being called off. Thought it was a prank text from mates in Reading until the looks on the faces around us said it all

Can see this being a draw.Most likely 0 - 0

Will be enough to keep McD in his job unfortunatley(for us)

I feel bad wanting him to go after all he has done for the club.Plus he is a truely nice man

I predict being immensely sorry for anybody stupid enough to make the trip up there (again)

And

despite a usual 'Reading Way' appalling performance resulting in yet another humiliating easy defeat, fans still chanting for Brian to 'give us a wave'.

Then again we could have an away win. It's a funny old game.

Have tickets and a very bad feeling about this one. Last of the four 6-pointers against relegation rivals, not a point from the other three.
Obviously we can win, but it doesn't look like it's happening. 2:1 to S'land.

Too early to give up and be "planning" for Championship next season, will need a shake-up and some serious fight come January.
