specialjon Still available on a free. Part of my brain says, can play just off a striker and is a creative player. Give him a 3 month deal and see how it works out. The other part says big time Charlie who we should keep clear of.

Niko B-Mac has denied reports saying he's interested. May be a good signing then...?

specialjon Yeah his scouting/signing of these where awful Doyle, Long, Kitson, Kebe, Alf, Legs, Roberts.....
All transfers have some risk but when you work on the cheap you have to take big gambles, some will work out and some won't. Bentley could be worth a punt on a 3 month contract on the other hand might not be depends on wages and attitude.

melonhead as a scout its all about your percentage that go on to success, and brian had a very decent record in a cost zone that gives you less chance than those who can spend more.

Elm Park Pasty After all, if he 'spotted' Doyle and Long (which as stated I am pretty certain he didn't) then he also spotted Fae and Cisse within a similar time frame.

melonhead im guessing man utds scouting network is up there with the very best in the world
and yet they still bought djemba djemba, veron, bellion, bebe, forlan, poborsky, prunier, taibi, jordi cruyff, obertan, kleberson and roy carroll
and they were all shit at utd.
sometimes, scouts, and managers get it wrong
sometimes a very good player will fail at a club for myriad reasons
ill tell you what though im happy our list of failures only cost a tiny miniscule fraction of what theirs did
