Scutterbucketz I nearly did because my mate wanted to get out and onto a bus. We were just about to get up and out of seats when the first went in. I barely even celebrated tbh as getting another one seemed so unlikely at that stage. More than made up for it when the second went in and then nearly had a heart attack when the third went in.

Yep, pretty much my turn of events. 5 more mins of that dross and I would of encouraged those around me I came with to go also.

Cantankerous old git and family by us in Y24 left after 70 in disgust!

Alexander Litvinenko Who are you to tell other people how to live their lives? If people want to spend their money on tickets and not bother to ever use them that's their choice.

Spot on. If people want to be cunts, let them be cunts. Their loss.

I must admit that I was so pissed off with our showing over the first 80 minutes that I couldn't even be arsed to leave early!

Muted celebration for our first because it really just seemed like a consolation and I half expected WBA to come straight back with a third - then the unthinkable happened?

Not worth it, having said that, those who did will claim it's because they did we won, you know, sods law and all!

Had they not left early, the result may have been different. Personally, I am glad we now have a fighting chance and could not give a fig about anyone deciding to leave early.

I was thinking if albion got a third I could bugger off early.

I have left early from games before, but only at 0-3 or 0-4 down, oh, and also 0-2 down at Preston, where we pulled back a very late goal.

I can't really imagine those that left early would be "gutted" though, as they'd still have wanted us to win. I imagine it being more like missing a goal when you go for a piss. As much as you say "oh bugger!" to yourself, you'd still rather Reading had scored than not.

Blue Jay Having seen the large number of "fans" who decided after 80 minutes it was time to leave and stop supporting the team, could I just say "don't bother coming back"!

We really need supporters who follow the team through thick and thin and not people who need to get out of the car park or an early place in the bus queue. Over the years matches like this stick in the memory. If you can't be bothered to stay and support...F u c k right off!

yes I did. I had to get the kids from deepest darkest Surrey by 6. I could have left just before final whistle but decided not to risk it. Listening on the radio I had a bloody good laugh when the winner went in. And I nipped into Tesco as well.

In 15yrs I have only left early on a handfull of occasions but after the McCleary miss a nd the previous 82 minutes was feeling pretty depressed and decided to go, after this next attack, which ended with Jimmy scoring. Then thought ok might as well stay a bit longer and glad I did :D

My stream went a bit dodgy after the second goal, so I just kept Reading Player on and listened to it. As soon as I heard leaves goal, stream back on. In my six years as a STH before moving up to Manc, I might have left early at Bristol Rovers - school night and horrible score - but otherwise I can't recall going before 90 minutes, though I may have gone a few times during extra time when we've been losing by 2+ goals.
