Squelchy2507 Well I am with the team at Heathrow and they have never heard of Lescano and certainly NOT with them.

Well apparently he boarded the team bus with them and they dropped him off at the train station ....

Apparently with the Beric deal going ahead there was only sufficient cash to get him to Thailand by train. He's expected there next Tuesday.

A bit longer than that - as they need to build the tunnel for the train first .... :D

We had our own Bridge back in 2013, but the underpinnings were a bit dodgy and he retired last year.

I'm pretty sure the only necessary tunnel has already been built!

On the other hand poor Lescano would need to leave the train for a bus to cross the Iran Pakistan border. And in the likely absence of a visa for "Myanmar" his round about route via China and Laos would take long enough to rule him out of much of the season...

But it could be done with minimal construction!

Looks like he played for the u21s on the left wing opposite Semedo.............

http://www.basingstokegazette.co.uk/spo ... 3464923._/?

Reading after starting slowly looked the more likely to score in the opening session with Harry Caldwell proving a handful upfront and Lesamdro Semedo looking very lively.

The midfielder showed some nice touches, but just lacked the end product, but he is certainly one to look out for in the future.

He linked up really well with Nana Owusu and Facundo Lescamo down the left hand side.

Don't think so Maffff. It was Owusu and Lawal on the left in the first half.

Was he upfront then and linked well with those on the left, he's billed as a striker?

Team

Reading:
Ward (sub Southwood 46 mins), Sheppard (sub Watson 46), Owusu, Shaughnessy, Fridjonsson (sub Lawal 46), Jules (sub Amoo 46), Semendo (sub Collins 46), Kelly (sub Djorkovic 46), Caldwell (sub Hussin 46), Tanner, Lescano (sub Vastsujk 46). Subs (not used): McIntyre.

Vastsuk is a striker so would make sense if he were up top?

I didn't notice this guy playing on Saturday.

There was a guy that came on second half that looked good.

That team is wrong. Lawal started at left back. Lescano was read out by the Basingstoke announcer (instead of Lawal) and their teamsheet had Luke Southwood starting at left wing so wouldn't take their word for it. Possible that Lescano was supposed to play but didn't and the Basingstoke guys got confused I suppose. But only two trialists played and they were Djorkovic (not very good) and Amoo (decent)

Was Amoo the speedy centre forward who came on in the second half?

Looks like he scored 14 goals in 30 games last year. Not bad. Sheffield Wednesday were after him...

Confirmed by Charles categorically that he didn't play. How weird.
