I presume he will not be given any money in Jan, or be allowed to take any player options up.
Will this be enough for him to walk, or can he get the players back onside.
6 players on loan, no way to run a squad, it's too many that are not really here for us.

Other potential.managers know this position will be up for grabs soon as well. It's all pressure, everyone that watches a match that is an ex manager will be linked.

So it's Gooding and Williams as joint managers then! I hear Dillon was watching us the other week so maybe it will be a managerial trio.

Well, with the club on the cusp of a play off place he certainly won't be fired. And while we are in with a chance of reaching aforementioned play-offs he won't jack it in, unless a bigger/better club comes in for someone with a trackrecord as mediocre as his (seems unlikely).

So, realistically speaking he isn't going anwyhere and you should probably all just get a bit of a grip tbh.

A source (at the club) is telling me he'll be gone if he doesn't have 40 points by the 1st Jan.

Something is going very wrong when of all the posts in a thread Floyd's is the most rational.

We're in a bit of a slump and yes, he had the temerity to speak to another club, but we're still in a remarkably good position given the level of expectation 4 months ago, and it was only a few games ago that we were looking the best footballing side in the league.

Personally I don't think his job is even under that much pressure atm, and anyone hoping/expecting him to be sacked in the coming weeks is going to be very disappointed, regardless of the results between now and January.

Thai media ran with that last week and it was then picked up by CW at GetReading.

Monday 15 Feb. Two successive home defeats to Wolves and Burnley would do it after a frustrating transfer window for Steve...

One win in 7 suggests we aren't going to be in touch with the play offs for long. Said two games ago he really needs three wins in five to gain some security and fan faith. Fail on TV tonight and it's 2 must wins for me.

Got to keep the winnometer ticking over and the points accumulating. Unless you're planning on a BMc 8 game winning streak in Feb/Mar.

If there is any credence to the whole 40 points by the 1st thing, then he's got to get 13 points out of a possible 18. Which is obviously bye bye Clarke as there is no way in oxf*rd we're going to avg more than 2 pts a game for the next 6.

I'd much rather we lose the next one or two, he goes and then we can get someone in who can assess the squad before potentially adding to it in January, though in my opinion the squad is good enough as it is and id sooner the club dish out x amount of compensation to the charlatan then but any new players so long as it meant he fooked off ASAP.

Get rid now.... that was an utter disgrace.

No movement. No passion (until Williams gave up half way through the second half). No idea. Clueless.

Clarke - you Weegie, eejit. Just do the right thing and fall on your sword. You spineless, useless, dour oxf*rd Jock. Just oxf*rd off. Right now.

And please can we buy a goalkeeper? Any goalkeeper? Even Paddy Kenny.

Might as well get rid now as we'd have to win all of our next 5 to reach that points target

He has to go. Listening to him BBCRB he keeps saying we're work hard on the training ground. He's been saying that for the past 8 games with the exception of Bolton game and that was dogs-shit. He should walk.

He was't very defiant on the radio was he? Loved Adie's "if you're still the manager" comment. Because we all know there's a really good chance he won't be.
