2 world wars, 1 world cup
Royalee Derby top, Birmingham second and Sheffield United through the playoffs for me.

I reckon QPR, Wolves and Swansea will complete the top six.

I don't get it. Being cynical is one thing, ok. I can accept that. But it takes a huge lot of cynicism to suggest that Derby "worst record in the Prem" "beaten 4-0 at home by US in the previous game" County will not only do better than us but will come top!

Having made 11 signings, it's hardly going to be the Derby of last season. Take a look at how crap Sunderland were when they went down, only for them to make wholesale changes and come straight back up and stay there at our own expense strangely enough.

Because Derby are atrocious (but improving) and Brum are the only other relegated team other than us.

No one likes QPR and the betting on them is largely based on how much cash they have. Everyone else is much of a muchness.

Royalee Derby top

Said it before, say it again:

For me it'll be Birmingham, QPR and A N other going up. Doncaster to be the surprise package, not even going to try and guess who else will make the play offs/who will go down. Don't think more than 40 points will separate 1st and 22nd, and I think every team will go into April with a real shot at making the play offs or a real chance of being relegated. Think we'll finish just outside the play offs after an up and down season, drawing the last match to finish a point short.

Although all of the above is total guesswork, as are most predictions about the Championship.

Ok thx. I didn't realise it was quite that many signings! Will they have the "magnificent seven" effect, or actually produce the goods? Will be an interesting season that's for sure.

Well given Jewell's transfer record and Ellington's record at this level, I'd put money on them being more effective than a player who's only had one good season in the weaker SPL to date. And before anyone goes on about how the SPL isn't a bad league, take a look at Barcelona's pre season there - you wouldn't see them spanking 5 goals past top half Championship sides every game with ease.

Surprised you think Cardiff will go down. They still have Joe Ledley, Roger Johnson, Glen Loovens, Paul Parry and Peter Whittingham who are all good players at this level.
