poor form, it was never actually suggested it was done all in one go, but planning costs big money, as in many schemes better to ask for more than you want, and then use what you need.

Same as the original Madstad, can you see the three outdooor pitches for community use? Or the nice plastic section of the roof, listed as keeping fans dry and allowing light to the pitch.

RFC have said it would be done in two stages, I have note seen anyone ON HNA saying that we should go to 38k in one go. Personaly I am not sure we ever will, 30k sounds good for many a year.

The stadium expansion thread certainly is. Personally I find it all a bit dull and uninspiring.

I've only been in the away end but that's a sh*t hole compared to ours.

What, with proper concourses that can handle more than a couple of hundred people you mean. Add in the cheap and easy transport access and the fact that it hasn't been bodged then yeah, well shit

You do realise that rg6royal was responding on the 'BIRMINGHAM LAST SEASON' thread, not the 'Birmingham and Southampton Away' one?

There's no way anyone could describe St Andrews as better than the Madejski, let alone 'miles better'...

errors are allowed tho, I would say St Marys is much better positioned than the Madstad, 10 min walk from town centre, is able to use buses already on route, plenty of pubs too.

Not even Reading buses had the guts to up the prices in the old days of EP, anything down Tilehurst Rd or Oxford rd worked.
