Hasn't Lita only had one yellow card all season and that was for his celebrations after his goal vs Chelsea, so to be honest he seems to pretty much control his temper on the pitch.

Serious question - how old are you? IIRC you have a young son, therefore you must be of adult age. So why, I have to ask myself, would an adult male and a father Royal Rother get his kicks from trying to fish for a reaction on an internet message board? It's a lovely day - take that presumably neglected son of yours out kite flying. When he has grown up, you'll regret the time you have missed out on with him because you were busy posting spurious opinions on an internet message board. Its not time to make a change, just relax, take it easy. Youre still young, thats your fault, theres so much you have to know.....

In that thinking time his first thought is, how can I make it look like I've been fouled so I don't have to do something constructive, so I can look unlucky and maybe gain an advantage that I don't deserve? Unfortunately for him he is a crap cheater and the defenders and referees are all wise to him.

I find him frustrating to watch because until he gets his head straight, a la Drogba and Ronaldo this season who have largely cut out the crap, he will only be a fraction of the player he could be.

Must admit, most of what you say there is what annoys me about a player who has come on leaps and bounds of late. Quite a few refs are starting to cotton on to it as well now and he seems to be getting less decisions as a result.

I know you're in your 20s. What's a 20-something doing posting spurious opinions on an internet message board? You should be out enjoying life whilst you're still young enough to appreciate it. I don't think any of us in this particular glasshouse can afford to be chucking stones around.

FWIW, I think RR has made some very valid points about Lita. He is an incredibly frustrating player to watch and, whilst I agree he has improved a lot since the Martin Williams-like diving he entertained us with earlier in the season, he still has a long way to go before he wins me over.

I tend to agree with RR a little bit, although I still rate Lita. He does seem to hold up ball, back into defender, and then fall over.

YR, (again, as I have pointed out many many times) I rate Lita as well for what he is good at, but I find him irritating and frustrating; unfortunately he does look out of his depth in almost everything he attempts against premiership dfenders except one-touch finishes, at which he is extremely adept.

Perhaps he's the Trevor Senior for the 21st Century, (great goalscorer and not much else) but he's playing in the top flight and I suspect needs to improve significantly if he is to feature at the forefront of Coppell's plans for next season.

I do mostly agree with you, Lita can be incredibly frustrating to watch. However he has come on leaps and bounds over the course of the season.

I enjoy watching him when he doesn't have the touch of a 5 year old girl, which seems to be more often than not when he's on form. When he's off form however....
