AF2 - normally I'd be saying Betfair always have a "To qualify" market which would meet your requirement exactly {and I'd post a link} but unless I'm being a complete gaylord they don't appear to have opened it yet.

I'll look again later on this week.

OK, thanks guys

we've already paid for our Cardiff train tickets, same weekend as the semis, so i'm hoping a small wager will cover my loses should we progress.

I don't think they will do a To Qualify market until the possible replay as the 1st game and replay would be completely different markets.. So unless I am wrong you have two options

1> Lay Villa to Win... then if there is a replay put the winnings from this on Reading 'to qualify' in the replay, or if Villa did lose, cash in the dollar.

2> Bet on Reading to win the FA cup at 50's.... then when we advance...lay it off at lower odds...green up yadada

1 seems easier. Lay Villa.

Swindon, Arsenal, Alloa today, although I really fancy getting stuck into Young Boys later.

For an encore, I also did a lumpy lay of Brizzle Roves as a single.

Knew to this stuff. Just lumped £25 on Wolves to win at 10/1. Given Betfair offer a free £25 first bet, do I get my stake back if I lose?

Hmmm I haven't looked at this but usually: you bet 'X' and the get that 'X' amount credited to your account that you must bet with, you can't just withdraw this from your account.

If you lose the 25, youll be recredited with £25, there is no catch, just the slight chance that they get you addicted

Catch is you can't simply take that £25 back...you usually have to bet with it.
