I agree...both Rino & Laurent are energetic tacklers who can carry the ball. You don’t really need a DM as both can take turns staying deeper. What I’d do is play those 2 with an AM (Ejaria/Olise/Swift...ridiculous isn’t it!) in front for home games. And sign a DM to play instead of the AM for away games

There’s an argument for playing Olise on the left...really I think he’s the only one out of the 3 who can do that, but really would prefer to see him in the centre. I’d sign a LM and only have 2 of Ejaria Swift & Olise

Yeah. Depth is the operative word for sure. Lots seem to forget even if we sign Ovie thats still 5 (6 if I include Holsgrove like I know you want me to x ) players for 3 positions. 3 of them being more on the attacking side. Man I hope they all stay fit.

Realistically it's 4 on the attack side, though Swift, Ejaria and Olise can all put a foot in or chase to an extent. Not really their game though. No idea on Holsgrove.

Ideally, to get the best balanced midfield you'd probably want:

DM, back up DM
Rino, Laurent
Ejaria, Olise

That would be my preference too. Seeing as it is unlikely Swift is leaving I reckon a decent DM on loan would do for now.

I think the deal is awaiting approval from the FL as I presume the club would want to run any deals by them given the FFP situation. Of course any approval may be subject to getting one or more players out of the club one way or another....
