What a gutting end to a fantastic game of football.

Neither team deserved that.

FFS 3-1. Poor from Rafael Very disappointing. They could bring on quality subs. We couldn’t.
Realistically we have to look at making the play offs now. We won’t make too top now. Injuries again have hurt us.
Credit to Brentford though. Second half they have been excellent. They are scoring shedloads.

Royal Ginger Oh well, quality game and just pipped by a top team. Not overly upset when they perform as they have.

This. Can't fault them

Hard to stomach we deserved a draw. But they are the best team by miles I have seen.

Don't think we'll play this well again this season. Just couldn't finish anything off.

tidus_mi2 The lack of options off the bench has made a big difference tonight.

Difference in quality between the teams.

They’ve been good but we were the better side for the first hour

Next 3 games are important for that we really need 6 points from Millwall, Boro and Brizzle. All 3 of them are on the edge of the play offs or could make a charge towards it. My biggest worry is that we have no squad rotation olise and ejaria look knackered and these games come thick and fast. Hopefully Meite and Swift will be back in the squad soon. We really needed another wide option in the last window.

Lots of positives tonight and it is almost sacrilegious to criticise VP, but he has to learn it is a 14-15 man game not 11-12. We have been running on empties since 70 after playing a high energy game and we’re always going to run out of steam and fresh legs were needed.

Brentford had that bit more quality from us. Cant see us being good enough for top 2, however we should have enough to make the playoffs. To put some perspective though , we’ve come a long way since last season.

Joao not on his game tonight and let’s face it both Swift and Meite were big losses. They are very quick and fluid going forward. We gave them a very good game but they have a lot of pace in their side and knock the ball around well. I think we have been beaten by the Champions elect tonight.
Regroup and focus on finishing g top six. Everything to play for still.

It's not like we didn't have chances to get a decent lead. Gutted Swift and and Meite didn't start. Could have been so different.

Just don't have the players on the bench for a match of that quality.

Canos made a big difference when he came on. Up to then we were on top.

Considering the pathetic effort Swansea put in against Brentford and Norwich’s form, 2nd place isn’t out of the question

Brentford really should win the title. They’ve a bit of everything really and they work the officials etc

Autos aren't out the question, at worst we'll be 7pts off if Swansea win their game in hand but I think it will take a big collapse in form from Brentford to oxf*rd this up.

One day I hope to see a Reading team do that too!

DaSilva was bloody good.

Thought Toney, Fosu and Mbeumo were all pretty poor but Canos definitely improved them
