Purchased tickets through Glitchg8, didn't arrive in the post today and I can legitimately buy tickets tomorrow. Do I need to see if I defiantly have tickets before they sell out tomorrow? Paranoia is kicking in.

Once the clock strokes midnight tonight, are you able to buy tickets using the online system? (Royalty Points providing of course).

Just what I was told as I purchased my tickets at the ticket office earlier...

Anyone going from High Wycombe? What's the plan for pre/post match drinking?

Same as here, well one was ok the other was because of the glitch, surely the club would have to let fans know if for some reason it hadn't gone through if they've sent us receipts / taken payment.

That's what I'm hoping however I can equally see the club saying well it's you fault, only to find they have sold my ticket to someone else and then they sell out and I cant go.

There's no way the club can just void tickets /not send tickets out - monies have been exchanged for tickets. Their mistake, not ours - fair play to all who took advantage of it, knowing that the ticket office is managed by a bunch of monkeys and that they screw up regularly.

The tickets remain the property of the club so surely they can return my money and not send a ticket, saying that I will be livid if they do.

But they will say that you broke the rules in applying for tickets when you knew you weren't entitled to them. Or something. Hope our tickets come tomorrow! Mind, they've not given any indication that they won't honour the tickets. I'd have thought they'd have said something by now if that was the case..

they're not the property of Reading FC - RFC are simply the ticketing agent for this fixture - the tickets are the property of Birmingham FC - who couldn't give a to55 whether the programming monkey screwed the system up!

Technically I'm not sure you are right. IIRC on the Birmingham away tab that we had to click to get a ticket, it clearly had the points allocation set out. There is no way that anyone can, therefore, plead ignorance and anyone who did buy them, bought them deliberately knowing they were not yet eligible. It's a bit like when recently Tesco had the Ipad 4 available on line for £49.99 by mistake they refused to honour it as they claimed people would have known it was a mistake. The football club's case would be even stronger if they had the balls to enforce (which they wont!).
