Entirely fair and exactly the right sort of deal for us to offer if true. IMO.

Afterall he has been quoted complaining about getting paid £15k - £20k a week to watch from the stands. We wouldn't want to make him go through that again.

this is what i suggested it would be. a better the devil you know signing but for some reason sonko seems to find it disatisfactory. i assume it's the wages. dropping to around £6-8k a week is quite a drop from £25k. i think it's best all round if we look elsewhere for someone. another kishnavilli would be ideal.

Have a look on OS, Brian has been quite honest about the situation, looks as though we matched the money he wanted but we only offered a 1 year rolling contract...

This is priceless ranting. Why should we offer him more than in 2004? It's not like he's a better defender these days.
