Once were Biscuitmen Great! Obviously I feel for those on here whose ranting potential will have taken a knock for a few days.

As you say, only for a few days. One swallow does not a Summer make. Let's see how Saturday goes. I'm going so we won't score (last goal seen Nov 2008). The best we can therefore do is 0-0.

PEARCEY
Kitsondinho I'm SO pleased about that....really thought we would blow it again.....happy to be proved wrong....great win boys...well done...URRRZZZZ....maybe BR will start to build the team around those playing tonight!

Well lets hope on Saturday he starts with the team that started tonight. I can't say its the side I would have wanted but to win at Preston is a very tough ask and they did it so don't change it Todgers.

What odds against would you like?

Good result, not an easy place to go to and get something, sounded a bit shakey towards the end, but thats hrdly surprising considering what has been going on so far this year.

Really pleased fo BR he is a young fairly inexperienced manager who needs all the support he can get, good on yer mate !

Need to keep a clean sheet again soon, preferrably scoring as well. But that's 3 games in a row we've scored now. Team finding it's feet with the 4-5-1 in attack. Still fragile in defence and prone to surrender the second half.

Work in progress, but we have definitely just seen some progress now.

Bet we don't hear too much from RL, Schards and Ideal tonight - they're gonna be pretty pissed off that they have nothing to whinge about. Mind you, they probably all passed on their in-depth knowledge of the game to BR to help him acheive victory.

   Especially for RL!

Sorry, forgot floyd_streete

...and we're now just 10 points away from an automatic promotion slot.

The people who wrote the crap on the first two pages of this thread should re-read what wrote and back off for a while.

Give the team and the manager some space.

Why not just enjoy a win and give some credit? Especially the Kebe bashers.

Can't dress it up any other way that's a great performance and result at a very difficult place to go to.

Hopefully we can take confidence and build on this.

McAnuff is making a difference with decent wing play and if Kebe can get some consistency then our "4-3-3" could start to click.

URZ!!

That could put a few hundred on the gate for Saturday. What will Big Watch Man do? Tinker a bit more? Piss about with the formations again? As mentioned above, I also hope that he quietens down a bit and concentrates on the training ground.

Just a thought but has his comment about trimming down the squad had a positive effect? All of a sudden there are a number of players who all of a sudden feel threatened that their lucrative careers at the Mad Stad could be drawing to a close? The voice from beyond the cabbage patch says that there is no such thing as coincidence.

And all the RTGs come crawling out of the woodwork bleating and waving their big watches and tank tops in the air. Typical geeky keyboard warriors. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Shame it'll be a completely different team to pull on the hoops Saturday. One swallow does not make a summer, but it can make for a very pleasant evening.

goals just on SSN - very composed finish by Church and Kebe. Both from open play although both route one. Great tackle by Gunn for the first one. Couldn't see if pen was fair from sky's cameras

Glad we got a much needed win, but we do need to keep our feet on the ground. It's good to win at a fairly tough place, but we still got to concentrate and continue the momentum come saturday. Still worried about our second half performance as well, no point in getting a good start if you can't finish well. I do hope Rodgers doesn't tinker with the team unless necessary. Same formation, same team please.
