SpaghettiHoop We've got enough shops in Reading. Let's go with the Indian guy.
Way I see it it's a toss up between the Indian guy who's the son of a billionaire (and we've had one of those before) and an actual billionaire.
Within that are many pros and cons.
The billionaire has more direct access to money and may invest more quickly. But he also wants a shopping centre in the car park and may view the deal more in terms of how he can make money from subsidiary activities to football. The worst scenario is that he is not interested in the football club at all and sees it more as a land deal.
The Indian guy demonstrates a greater interest in actual sport at the moment, running a cricket team in the IPL. That means it is virtually certain that when he takes over we will become known as Reading Royals. There is already an IPL team called Royals.
Beyond that it's all about the small print which we will not be privy to. For instance, will there be a sale clause that guarantees the stadium must remain and only be used for football. Is that even possible as a stipulation.
I'm verging towards Teddy merely because of the money, like most fans probably, but it's a gamble.
Also, with a name like Teddy he could attract new fans in the 1-8 age group.
