Terminal Boardom Why would anyone employ Curbishley? He has been out of the game for too long.

How long was Dalglish out before his 2nd stint with Liverpool?

A long time I think.

Don't think it matters that much.

Difference being that Dalglish is regarded as a demi-God in the Red half of Merseyside. He can do no wrong.Has Curbishley got that aura about him? :|

McCarthy wouldnt get away with spending £100m on taking a team to its lowest finishing positions for a decade.

Yes. I would say that he has. Doing what he did at Charlton and then heading straight over to the Shammers, I think he deserved 3 years out of the game tbh.

Surprising move for Leeds if that's the cause. Not sure the job Lee Clark has done for Huddersfield shows any more promise than what Simon Grayson did with Blackpool.

Sven would have been my choice.

Most overr8d manager in the country moves on to another perennial underachiever coming up no doubt.

Almost as bizarre as sacking Maurice Evans in 1984 when Reading were lying 3rd in the old 4th Division. And for anyone yet to reach puberty, this was at a time when play-offs did not exist.

lee clark? no. they have said numerous times they want someone experienced. all the talk is about leeds united but clark is allegedly considering taking legal action for unfair dismissal.

Then lead the pox to there league cup win. Has to be more to the Lee Clark sacking makes no sense. A tough league this year with Charlton already sewn up one place and the two Sheffield clubs.
