No ambition in the market didn't work for Reading did it? Could be a decent signing.

You're probably right, but surely there's a happy medium to be found? I would be uncomfortable with Reading splashing this sort of cash second year.

You can almost forgive one "indulgent signing" but that's also ridiculous. Road to ruin.

Southampton are extremely cash rich because of the money Leibherr left them, it's not nearly as much of a gamble for them as it is for most clubs.

Rumoured that Spurs have beaten Liverpool to the signing of Willian.

Little RFC aside - reading the LFC forums reaction to that news, I found out Barry Hunter is now Liverpool's chief scout. :)

Pjanic not happening apparently. Willian having medical though. Some great business by Spurs this summer. If they can get Coentrao as part of the Bale deal then they'll be looking very good indeed.

Yup - i just don't understand why Wenger refuses to buy players when Spurs have shown quality is out there
