Don't go onto the team board so it may be there already but an unnamed source tells me that Scott 'Goldie' Golbourne's has a house in lower Early and it was raided by the po po last week for drugs.

::insert obvious non performance enhancing drugs joke here::

Clearly not a performance enhancer though so he'll be ok to carry on playing.

Dunno if it's been mentioned (cba to read) but Breno was arrested on suspicion of burning down his own flat.

Two footballers have been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after the car they were in hit the central reservation of a motorway.

Aston Villa midfielder Barry Bannan, 21, and Shrewsbury Town striker James Collins, 20, were arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident after the crash on the M1.

The pair were travelling in a black Range Rover when it struck the central reservation of the motorway near junction 26 at around 5.30am on Sunday.

They were picked up by officers from Nottinghamshire Police as they walked through the market town of Bulwell.

A spokesman for the force said: "Two men were arrested shortly after 7am on suspicion of drink-driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

"No other vehicles were involved and there were no reported injuries.

"Both have been bailed pending further inquiries and will return at a date in December."

M-U-R-T-Y Deary me footballers really are Class A toss-pots

These threads always show just how fickle the average football FAN is also. What on earth makes you think that footballers don't share the same human traits the rest of society have?

Wonder if there is a thread shared by all pro footballers so when fans in their area or local teams rape, stab, drink drive, etc then post about it in the " fan being arrested shocker thread"

Honestly

Even more so as by definition pro footballers are youngish males with lots of spare time and lots of disposable cash.

On second inspection yes, but " class A toss pot" is used a regular phrase without a drug reference also.

Aside from that, my post is aimed at the majority of people who get involved for some footballers are all scum, bla bla bla debates.
