Mr Angry I'm not and never have been a fan of a manager walking out on a club to join another; players can't do it, so why should managers be able to?
I'm surprised that there aren't more cases of Clubs suing each other over this sort of thing; someone like Mackay or McDermott are worth far more to their clubs than the value of their contracts; add to that the disruption caused by the departure and in trying to find - and paying compensation for - a replacement, and the club losing their manager gets the brown end of the stick.
