Unphased Royal
creative_username_1 i'd suggest just randomly choosing 3 teams for promotion.

Someone give me three numbers between one and 24

2, 16 and 21

Birmingham
Sheff Wed
Middlesborough

Ridiculous thread when there's eight and a half weeks left of the transfer window.

I predict we finish somewhere between 1st and 24th.

If you can't play nice then don't play at all.

I think we will finish top two, but its far too early to predict anything in early July.

And don't forget, the only thing you safely predict about the Championship, is its unpredictability

Challenging for the Title.
Reading, Bolton, Wigan

Challenging for the Play Offs.
Ipswich, Leicester, Forest, Bournemouth, Wigan, Leeds

In danger of Relegation.
Barnsley, Yeovil, Millwall, Blackburn

Notable absences:
Watford - I think it's going to be hard to sustain a similar season as last time off the back of a loan system. But I wouldn't expect them to be far off.
Brighton - Two good seasons after promotion, so I think they'll flag a little bit and be mid-table, especially with the change of manager. I think they'll be back up there in a season or three though.
QPR - Difficult to predict because they're such a basket case. They have the players to win the league, but then they had the players to finish mid-table last season and were atrocious. Plus I don't see Harry hanging around for the full season, and his summer hasn't impressed me, so I think a season of disappointment and disruption is coming for them.

Before people start thinking I'm attacking McDermott, but not many other fans are rating Leeds chances.

Because there is never a surprise package in the Championship.

every season people predict 2 of the relegated teams to take up the automatic promotion spots. (almost) every season it doesn't happen.

Reckon we will be play offs. and lose.

I have bought my season tickets-although haven't paid for them yet-but at this point do not feel at all enthusiastic about the Chumpionship-last year was a missed opportunity to really establish RFC as a club going somewhere-if we really are going to win the league or come 2nd/playoffs-is the same thing going to happen again ?

My guess is that we will start in third gear and then battle our way to the Play Offs-one good thing with the Chumpionship is that it is very even-anybody could win it-even though we and a couple of others have the parachute payments.

priority has to be promotion in the first season back in the championship, it does not matter how we do it but if we want to keep our young progressive squad together that is what we have to do

To be quite honest I see a good 12 clubs as being in with a decent shout of automatic promotion plus about another 5 or 6 who probably aren't up to automatic but could sneak the play offs.

This season is going to be by far and away the best season of any league of any country anywhere simply because of the likely - at this stage - competitiveness amongst so many sides.

Beats the tedium of the PL (even if Reading were playing there) every time.
