You may think it's a shithole but it's certainly a better match day experience than the Madejski. Plenty of pubs within a reasonable distance. Any London game is a good matchday experience.

If your priorities for a matchday experience don't involve anything whilst you're actually at the match, i completely agree.

Out every night down a club and complaining about there not being enough pubs around a football ground.
