I'd be angry too if I lived in a town that even the rest of South Yorkshire thinks is an appalling dump.

Thanks.

It's ok, the first 10 years are the worst and then you just kind of accept it.

Got back to Andover at 1. Not sure what routes you lot took :D

Felt like a loss afterwards.
Taylor wasn't up to Obita's standard going forward and felt that hindered us.
Sa anonymous.
Norwood marked out the game again. (though when he did have space he did spread it round well).
Hurtado earned a start for me on Saturday.
Vydra well off the pace and needs to be a bit simpler at times.

Williams MOTM

Given that I live like a king in Reading, I've no idea what it would be like in Sheffield. To live like a God?

I'd move to Sheffield in a shot if there was any of my work up there

Why in gods name would you want to live there? You know it's up north, right? I've checked on a map.

Too many changes to the team. Frustrating as a couple of weeks back the team was starting to look settled. Now with a number injuries we've gone backwards.

Sa's best games have been when Vydra's been on the pitch. At the moment we lack that creativity when we are in the final third. Norwood is fine playing from deep. While I'm a Williams fan he's not the answer.

Piazon gets my vote simply because SC obviously rates him before the other available options. If he was more experienced I could see him playing the Vydra role in the team.

Give Redfearn his due. He set Rotherham up well last night. For long periods we looked like the home team rather than the away. SC has to have a plan B formation. Unless of course he's totally focussed in developing the team in a certain direction. While all the players have an opportunity to show that they can play in the system.

Ouroboros Positives

Al-habsi was solid, made a couple of good saves.
Blackman was a constant danger.
Williams dangerous running with the ball

Negatives

McCleary didn't really get into the game
While Vydra's intelligence is plain to see, his feet look a little behind his brain at the moment (still nearly won it for us though)
Very poor defensive lapse for their goal.

They put a lot of men behind the ball in the second half. Our most obvious weakness at the moment is in breaking down a team defending deep. We're going about it with some imagination and skill, trying to intricately play it through them, but it's a hard trick to pull off.

Looked like Taylor and someone else (Hector?) both marked the same man and the goal scorer was left totally on his own.

Anyone know why Obita didn't play? Was he rested? If so pretty risky to mess with what's been a very solid defence

The game aside...which has been covered.

For those that haven't been to Rotherham;
Stadium feels like a half size version of the Madstad.
Two hours before kick off, you wouldn't even know a game was being played.
Speaking to sensible Rotherham fans, they think we will be "there or thereabouts".
Decent stewards. No problems at all.
Bar staff in concourse struggled at half time.

Good away day, but I'd expect there to be at least one division apart for the two clubs next season.

Don't really mind the NYS and actually think the acoustics are quite good.

Assume Clarke wants to keep everyone fresh. Same with Williams/Tshibola.

Keeps it in Obita's mind that he needs to perform or he'll be dropped.
