Kitson12 Even if we win, I'll have a sour taste in my mouth after today's ridiculous decision.

C'mon City.
A few years ago I saw him do a talk to the players in their mid week meeting. He was quite good at explaining the oppositions (Portsmouth), weaknesses simply and effectively, (They were running away with the league at the time and we were unlucky not to win the game in question).
The players that were around then seemed to respect him and I see no reason why the curent lot would disagree with that opinion.
He may just surprise us as Pardew did when he stepped up from the reserves.
Johnson admitted he was surprised to hear Reading had parted company with manager Brendan Rodgers on Wednesday night.
And he said that the move has disturbed his carefully laid pre-match plans.
"I was surprised. It is quite early in his time there – he's only been there for six months," said Johnson.
"He probably feels he was told more by the club in terms of January signings. There's always got to be some breakdown to mutually agree to leave.
"We have all the scouting pieces in from their last few games but that all changes. Now we have to second guess what they might come here with.
"It means you have to concentrate on what you are doing yourself.
"Tactics that they have used go out the window a little bit because it is a caretaker manager.
"Everybody gets a new lease of life when someone new comes in and if they haven't been regulars even more so."

Blatant arse-covering.
This way he can keep up the pretext that he was actually right all along and that we were destined for future greatness if only Madejski hadn't sacked BR.

Because he has some sort of Smithers like crush on Rodgers.
