facaldaqui I think Gunnarsson sorts out the fans. Those who say he lacks skill must have their eyes shut. Those who think he lacks pace must have been surprised by a couple of his darting interventions tonight. This is by no means the first time he's done legendary things. How about last season, when he singlehandedly rescued us against Cardiff after we went a man down?

Not that he's a real answer to anything; he's a utility player at the end of his career, but one who, unless my eyes just deceived me, can go 120 minutes against Liverpool. Revelatory.

Go to Specsaves Fac

"Too slow, too old, clueless"...................there's one or two missing posters tonight

Boris - absolutely shocking in the home game, albeit played out of position.
Tonight he was man of the match and I don't know where the hell he pulled that perfomance from.

What exactly did he do wrong at home?

I think he sold his soul to the devil or something, he was unbelievable tonight. Gunnarsson is an official Reading legend now, in my books.

For the two goals against Sheffield United in the promotion season, for the equaliser away at United in the cup, for the equaliser at Cardiff when we had ten men, for the goal he created at Barnsley for Doyle, for the goal he created tonight.

Brynjar Gunnarsson we salute you!

Didn't pass to a player in Blue and white, way off the pace and if Liverpool had channelled all of their effort down their left wing we would have been in a whole lot of trouble.
Anyway, like I said, that's not his natural position and he MORE than made up for it tonight. If you are seriously arguing that he had even an ok game at home then we'll agree to disagree. Let's enjoy the victory tonight, what a performance from the lads.

When you are part of a defence that only lets one goal in against Liverpool, you did not have a shocking game. He wasn't perfect at home, but if he was shocking he would been have rinsed all match at right back. Far from it.

Thought he did well in the first game and was also excellent against Swansea. He has never had the credit amongst the fans that he deserves IMO.

Don't get me wrong, I love Boris to bits he's a hero for his contribution to RFC history, I just thought he was a liability that game. We were lucky they only had Insua and Aurelio down the left.
Maybe 'shocking' was too harsh a word. I still can't agree that he played well that game.
Anyway, like I said, I don't really care now. Roll on Burnley.

Said it before on here numerous times and I'll say it again, Bryn is the best all round midfielder at the club. I see a lot of the same good attributes in Gylfi and wouldn't be surprised if he is taking some sort of mentoring role with him. The most under-rated player at the club in the last 10 years. Just wish he was 5 years younger and had the legs to do it week in, week out.

Plymouth_Royal One amazing game and everyone is creaming themselves. He's played horrible this season and I still think he's a waste of space.

He's played what, 4 games at RB now??

I have him as MOM for 2 of those :|

Incredible performance. Not much else to be said, simply incredible.

34 looks like the legs have gone, liverpools left side tonight with Yossi and then Babel comes to around £16million and gunnarsson pocketed the pair of them. for good measure he nuts'd their left back on 3 occasions and whipped in a cross that anyone on the planet would have been dleighted with for the winner. Even Long couldn't miss that one!!! :)

Now what happens saturday, gotta play again hasn't he? :)
