Whilst watching Sky Sports News coverage this afternoon, the chap reporting on the Bury v Burnley game took great delight in informing viewers that during the second half a Bury fan unveiled a Vuvuzela and upon his first blast was greeted by jeers from all corners of the ground. Suffice to say it was not heard again!

Did someone have a vuvuzela at Farnborough today? Thought I heard something blasting avery now and then, but from a distance, on it's own, it didn't make much of an impression... if it was one.

Some team, can't remember which one now, has apparently already banned vuvuzelas for next season - actually I think it's Spurs.

Correct. First Prem team to do it, 'parently some of the Football League clubs have banned them as well.

Ipswich, Cardiff and Leicester have banned them. Come on Reading, pull your finger out!

Stevenage FC can confirm that Broadhall Way will be a no vuvuzela zone on a matchday with concerns arising for the health and safety of supporters and staff.

The vuvuzela have created a widespread debate in football since coming to prominence in the World Cup. However Stevenage FC have decided, along with many other Football League clubs that the instrument will not be allowed inside the stadium.

Actually I often write in the style of a press release.

If I end up at a game sitting in front of someone who wants to blow a vuvuzela throughout, do you think the stewards/club will alow me to move seats? Or will I be forced to sit in front of that idiot, risking (potentially) permanent damage to my hearing?

I have just been given the green light by the club to start a vuvuzela band for next season.

We're going to have a Vuvuzela day to take the place of beard day.

I reckon the club will ban them soon, in line with a fair few others.

"Reading ban Vuvuzelas" on the official site will be followed by local media reporting supporters from Bracknell who have already bought their vuvuzelas at considerable expense and pictures of children crying.

A condescendingly titled "Your noise and horn blowing options explained" will then appear.
