Not going to happen, if the FL threatened to not accept QPR into the Championship then the PL would throw a hissy fit and not accept teams from the FL.

After all can't have teams being expelled effectively on the watch of the PL just because they are stupid enough to over spend well beyond their means chasing the stupidity that is the PL. That might reflect badly on the integrity of the competition.

Of course a season after exiting the PL the PL wouldn't give a tuppenny one about QPR unless they immediately returned.

At which point the FA can revoke their membership and it's bye bye UEFA Champions League. None of that'll happen though. QPR will string it out but ultimately cough up.

At about 10% of what they should pay, no doubt.

The obvious answer is for Fernandes to take the hit or for them to take the fine then immediately go into administration - 10pt penalty then carry on as before.

Actually that would be quite an interesting situation, do these fines count as footballing debts that must be paid in full as preferential creditors?

Six players have withdrawn from the Leeds squad against Charlton claiming they're injured, which has apparently come as a shock to Redfearn and the club physio.

His Sports Direct head office was raided by Police recently with regards to his involvement of Rangers, and now this.

Really? First team? Squad? Does this include Youth? Coaches? Manager? If it's first team how do they calculate this as people come into and go from the squad? How are injuries factored?

It's just Snowball style numbers which mean nothing.
