Value for money, innit? Larger ticket area, more cardboard = better value for money. Birmingham have ripped us off. Literally.

royal-biscuit-man £40 train from Reading to Brum?!
If you look back across the thread the tip is to split the journey. Get a return from Reading to Banbury, then a return from Banbury to Birmingham. You still get the same train and don't even have to get off, it's a neat little loop hole that will save you £13.80

Woke up this morning to find my Brum tickets... I genuinely had no idea i'd managed to get some, thought the transaction timed out
