andrew1957 And I know the UKIP bloke from Henley who thinks gay marriage causes floods, but I also have a gay daughter, so I am really confused. Does knowing him make me homophobic or a does supporting my daughter make me a gay lover. Am I by default guilty of home flooding?

The main point here is, he's very selective about his tweeting. When a fellow player of black origin such as Anelka does something racist, he chooses to be quiet. If it was a white player he would be all over it on twitter as seen many times.

Homophobia is just as bad as racism and a much bigger problem in today's game. So whilst he chooses to vilify those who have been surrounded with racism allegations (except black players being racist) he remains to be friends with homophobic. Michael Johnson. Why? Obviously, I'm not suggesting JR is homophobic and you know that.

I think someone has a crush on Jason Roberts.

Nah. I have a crush on gr9 old school pro's such as Mick Gooding, Murty, Kevin Dillon etc. Decent human beings and very humble.

Will "The Mods" please just lock this thread and then hopefully we won't have to put up with this egotistical cripple anymore?

I appreciate the 15 or so games that he made a contribution but when he claims that it was all down to him then that sort of seals the deal.

He's a poor "pundit" and a completely self obsessed individual in his public utterings. Thank you and goodbye.

That's a bit harsh, I know he lives in his mum's basement but he can still move around freely, he just chooses not to.

Jason Roberts isn't Jewish so I doubt he feels he can speak with authority on the matter.

And didn't Johnson apologise, stating that he worded his reply to a question regarding homosexuality and his faith wrongly?

Dunno. You seem to have such a hard-on for all this and yet couldn't wait for the subject to change when the focus was John Terry.

As such a crusader for equality I'd have thought you'd have boycotted Stamford Bridge after that incident.

Not forgetting their anti-semitic abuse of their own player.

I believe a current Chelsea player who is currently on loan at Everton expressed support for Anelka last week. Presumably Kes will be calling for Chelsea to sell the player or sack him die to those comments.

I know this is hardly front page news, but JR has been telling people at the club he's retiring.

Its like a bird due back from maternity leave - leaves it until as late as possible to announce it, so they continue to collect the money

super darren caskey Will be like having a new signing if he can come back and be as good as he has been for us

I think you may be thinking of Lazarus. Roberts would be at retirement age or 'drop down the leagues' age had he retained a decent level of fitness. As he has just had major surgery, his recovery is the same as any other middle-aged recovery. His Media career is doing well and RFC are a great Pension whilst he is changing careers.

A fit Jason Roberts will be like a new signing in the same way as signing Robbie Fowler would!

You said he'd likely be back in September and you wanted him in the team. It's your thread you muppet - and that was your first post! You need 'Divine Intervention' to stop you from being a Knob Jockey!

Lovely stuff, Friday's Ghost. It's like the good old days of OAE, except this is related to footy.... Chuck that Ginga in the back of the Readibus and let the Wheelboyz do their stuff.

Why did I unblock you? My mistake. At that point he said he was nearly back, and yes I wanted him in the team, still would. Thought he might be, but was wrong. Never mind. What you haven't understood is that your holier than thou 'look at me aren't I clever' attitude is truly repugnant, especially coming from such an odious little scrote like you.

I wish nothing but ills for your future. Kiss kiss, back on the block list.
