Nice* to see them keeping up the tradition of having banned players in full kit for the trophy presentation.

Fair play to Chelsea, did the job in the second half and picked up a deserved win. Would have been nice to see them score a goal of their own, without relying on a Spurs player to do it though!

Interesting contradictions between pundits - Garth Crooks says the below, but Henry, Hoddle and Redknapp were pretty damning in their criticism at half time.

Of all the team changes Jose Mourinho has made as Chelsea manager this season, none can be more inspired than his decision to play Kurt Zouma as a replacement for suspended holding midfielder Nemanja Matic in the League Cup final. The young French defender was sensational. I don't know who deserves more praise: Mourinho for making the selection or Zouma for his sheer nerve.

I'm all for fans who love winning, any trophy, but after you lost to Bradford the callers on 606 were full of Chelsea fans saying it's [FA Cup] a nothing cup and its embarrassing how fans of Leicester, Villa, West Brom etc all get excited about the thought of winning it - and that none of the Chelsea players/staff could give a shit about anything other than the league and Europe.

More Chelsea fans in trouble for racism.

Maguire
Silver Fox Finally saw the incident last night, maybe Barnes was a bit naughty but the main thing I took from it was that Matic reacted so late you can't even claim it was a rush of blood, thoroughly deserved red

Proper lol at anyone saying Matic didn't deserve to be sent off. Clearest red card you'll ever see.

Barnes' tackle was a bit naughty though, for sure.

Apparently Atkinson (for it is he) thinks it's now only a yellow card offence ..... I hope you'll be as inconsistent as one of our top referee's and change your mind on a whim.

I remember multisync being a pretty decent poster, but in the last day or two he's been acting like a total mental. Has he got early onset nutteritis or did I just peg him wrong / misremember?

I was thinking exactly the same. I assumed his login had been hijacked by an utter bellend.
