Winston Biscuit Endrick seems to be all the Brazilian footballer potential pitfalls rolled into one.

Hot-headed, a bit short and might get fat - what are the other ones?

Yes deffo has the DNA potential to get fat. I would add in party lifestyle/silly off field decisions & somewhat temperamental. Add to it he is an extremely talented football and it's like he has taken all the best bits and worst bits of big name Brazilian footballers and decided to try and do all of them at once.

If he goes missing at some point, only to pop up at the Rio carnival, then we know he is fully committed to the role.

dont forget to add that he needs to murder his future wife and then dismember her like this Brazilian goalkeeper did

I think the template for maverick young Brazilian footballer is :

get bad advisors around him which make demands on the club around his importance

blow very hot and cold on the pitch

have a succession of highly questionable girlfriends

Enjoy the nightlife

Career starts slowing down before it should with 29-30 being past their best

Get one more big euro move based on name. Fail.

get move back to Brazilian league as homecoming star. Fail.

Retire at 33 looking overweight

befriend one or two axis of evil style world leaders

partake in minor criminal behaviour

5 years after last being heard of suddenly appear in a news story about being arrested in an unexpected country for an unexpected crime e.g 'former world star arrested in Guatamala for crypto scam'

Getafe's Chrisantus Uche is not a fan of the refereeing standards in La Liga. Also talks about racism from the stands.

"In just 2-3 games I saw how bad they are. Players can hit you and the ref will just ask you to get up, without taking any action against them. It's frustrating because they don't do anything."

Atletico Madrid ultras encouraging fans to come to the Madrid derby on Sunday in masks, so they can racially abuse Vinicius "anonymously".

And in response the president of his club says

“But he doesn’t understand! How can he tell you that? When he has been here for one or two years and understands and speaks Spanish, he can say whatever he wants. Let’s hope that the committees or whoever corresponds understands it,”

“I don’t want to justify him, but someone who doesn’t speak Spanish and (who) gets the microphone stuck in front of him… The journalist who asks him those things… (Uche says) well, what he everyone hears, that the referees are very bad and he decides to just say that,” justified Torres.

“My press officers are as much to blame for not being there and listening to it (during the interview) as the journalist who asks that question to a kid who has arrived a month and a half ago. But hey, I’ll talk to him and listen to the interview… and I’ll tell him that he’s completely mistaken. Although it is not the right question to ask a boy who has just arrived, it does not justify him having to speak badly about the referees or anyone.”

Bayern and Bayer share the points on Saturday night - Bayern remain top with 13pts from the first 5 games.

Eintracht on a run of 4 straight wins since the opening day defeat at Dortmund, to sit in second place.

Eintracht host Bayern on Saturday evening - Frankfurt won the match 5-1 last season, the year before Bayern won 6-1.

Real immediately follow up announcing Carvajal's injury by announcing his contract has been extended for next season.

Lewandowsky scores a 32 minute first half hat trick for Barcelona against Alaves. Alaves were caught offside 11 times in the game.

Eintracht Frankfurt 3 Bayern Munich 3

Was an absolutely fantastic game of football. Eintracht knew that they wouldn't be able to go toe to toe with Bayern, so were happy to defend deep - this generally worked as 2 of Munich's goals were from corners, only a bit of excellent play from Olise saw Bayern score in open play.

Eintracht on the other hand knew that Marmoush and Ekitike are two of the quickest forwards in the league and the CB pairing of Bayern are great defenders but slow in comparison and they combined well in the first half to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead.

Bayern thought they had done enough to win in until Marmoush equalised in the 94th minute. Great drama and in Marmoush, Frankfurt have one of Europe's in form strikers. He nearly signed for Forest in the summer but he'll end up moving to a much bigger club than that, for a big fee next summer.

Frankfurt showed they will be competing for the CL places this year and could even be a dark horse in the title race.

So Dani Carvajal does his ACL just three months before Trent Alexander Arnold is free to agree terms with Real Madrid? The football gods have done Liverpool up a right treat there.

Things look a little different in Eredivisie

8 wins out of 8 for PSV at the top. Utrecht in 2nd place having not lost yet. AZ Alkmaar in 3rd place and FC Twente in 4th place

Sam Steijn of FC Twente is top scorer with 7 goals in 7 games so far. 22 year old midfielder in only his 2nd season in the Eredivisie
