super darren caskey Would like to see Simon Church get a run out

I definitely saw Simon Church run out.

I think that is all I saw him do, but nice to see the young man.

NTRoyal I don't actually know who is going to score for them. Their front three are all totally out of form.

Comment of the night btw, nice one.

There is a lot of time for BMcD and the coaching team to digest Tuesday night's events. The response from the starting 11 on Saturday will define whether the coaching team know what they are doing.

cmonurz Agreed on the points made. If this is Federici's route back into the team then McCarthy may as well just leave Reading now. Fcuk knows what Pearce has done to deserve dropping, I almost hope he's got a minor niggle and this isn't more poor man management from BMc. Is Gorkss undroppable?

Uninspiring midfield, which as says, confirms the fall out.

Contract situation in terms of Pearce, 90% convinced that this is what this is boiling down to now. Brian won't play Pearce until he signs, just as Church isn't being allowed out on loan until he does either.

If this is true, McDermott is a oxf*rd thick kunt.

Been told as much by someone who knows the situation has no reason to make stuff up. The remaining 10% is my doubt as to whether Brian actually rates Pearce long term.

In the cold light of day I can understand the club wanting to get itself into the best possible bargaining position but it's going to cost us if we're putting marginal financial considerations like this one ahead of actually winning football games.

NR_Royal What went wrong:

- Conceding before half time
- Not retaining possession in the second half
- Arsenal bringing on Giroud
- Not holding onto the ball at the end of 90 mins
- 6 minutes added time
- Federici
- Simon Church

You forgot 'let in 7 goals'

I know it's Halloween today and maybe that has something to do with it, but I woke up this morning after having the worst nightmare. OK, in my nightmare I had visions that we went 4-0 up against Arsenal reserves and everything was going fine until Theo Walcott pulled a goal back just before half time. But this is when it starts to get nasty. Not only did the Arsenal reserves pull it back to 4-4, they then made it 4-5 in extra time. By this point I was in a cold sweat and although I was still dreaming I could feel my body shake. Then it got even worse. We then equalised making it 5-5 which led me into a false sense of security and then came the sucker punch. In this nightmare the Arsenal reserves then scored a sixth and seventh goal and our defence was a complete mess.

But the worth part of this nightmare was we were playing in front of the Sky Sports cameras and the whole country could see us implode.

I woke up in a cold sweat still, my limbs aching from the torture. I turned to my wife and said "darling, I've had the worst nightmare, I feel sick. Thank god it was just a dream" I said.

And then she turned on the news...

Ok smartarse, Sunday. But the sentiment is still the same. What needs to be seen is a fully committed performance where the basics are executed as well as possible. Time will tell.

Ideal
Cripple Creek What a pathetic bunch of childish losers some people are on here. I've been supporting RFC for 38 years and I am as disappointed as anyone but anyone who can't take it - without resorting to writing crap like the above - should either grow up or shut up.

+1, people saying they want us to lose, people saying they want hairy redknapp, that's just not on. Those people are not fans, they are idiots.

You f*cking hypocrite
