rfcfan13 The club sent out some trial versions of the new strip.

It took a while, but in the end I feel it was worthwhile. Only problem was that they sent out the wrong colour thread, it should infact be blue.

I should add that the club have informed me that the Puma transfers are to be sent out at a later date.

I like it.

So what happened to Boyd's 'F U loyal supporters, I laugh in your face' special offer?

But didn't we get the opportunity to have the away shirt a few days or so before the MegaStore started flogging them?

After the start of the new season then  . Why is it every club I know except RFC has a shirt available to fans BEFORE the new season starts. I think Puma have a lot to answer for, seems like we may be the "smallest" concern on their books and have to wait for every other kit to be manufactured first. About time someone at the club starting jumping around a bit. IMO

I'm not sure whether that comment means it will be available to order online within 2 weeks after its release date or within 2 weeks from now.

Sounds like within the next 2 weeks you can pre-order the shirt. However it is not released until August 12th.

What annoys me is that the FC clearly know what the home kit will look like as it will have been being made for the past couple of months, so why not show the fans what to 'look forward too'

But if you read it as read it says:

The shirt will be released on the 12th August and available to pre-order within 2 weeks. I take that to be 2 weeks after release.

Otherwise it would be worded:

Shirt will be available to preorder within 2 weeks, and officially launched 12th august.

 Shirley??

But if it's released on Aug 12th, how could you pre-order AFTER that date?

Bad grammar from them I know but they aren't hobnobbers so i doubt they are used to being corrected all the time. :D

Totally agree. I couldn't give a fukk what piece of polyester tat Boyd and his cronies choose to foist on us this summer.

But, for those who complain about the club profiteering, just look at the clamour on this thread. They must rub their hands with glee at the proles lining up to hand over their hard-earned.

Was in the club shop yesterday and they think (aren't sure yet  ) that the new home shirt will be available in the shop on August 5th. We wait and we wonder.

The last time I bought a replica shirt was over ten years ago so I don't think the club'll be holding their breath on that score. I'd just like to know what the shirt we'll be watching next season is going to look like. I suppose you're right though, it's no big deal really.

Edit: Actually I've just remembered that's not true. I bought one for my son last season, but he certainly won't be getting a new one this time round!

On the OS, under the section about Harper, Hunt & Brown is a picture of Seol. In the background there is a Reading shirt! Am I being a muppet or could it be the new one?

Sort of what I thought, but it looks darker. Regards, Kermit
