obviously easily confused. i said "IF TRUE" and since you seem to think it isnt true, you may therefore disregard the rest of the sentence.

and i would suggest you look at our press releases during every transfer window for as long as i remember when we have come out and said we are happy with what weve got, we have no money. and then still go on to bring new people in.which goes to show that the statements mean nothing.

Ivar set to return for Orient friendly today

Ivar Ingimarsson will take part in his first game for Reading this afternoon since tearing his hamstring in March .

The club captain is expected to play against Leyton Orient in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Hogwood Park.

However, it is unlikely that the 32-year-old centre-back will be up to speed to make the squad for Saturday’s Championship game against Nottingham Forest at Madejski Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Noel Hunt will also play 45 minutes in today’s friendly as manager Brian McDermott looks to step up the striker’s recovery from an ankle knock.

Midfielders Jake Taylor, Scott Davies and Hal Robson-Kanu could also play some part in the fixture with goalkeeper Ben Hamer anticipated to start in goal
