its the kind of education id rather do with out thanks.

i think its fine for any business to look at what other businesses charge for a service/product at teh same level, and pitch it relative to that.

which is what they did, and we still got premiere league football cheaper than many.

if you think that makes me dim, im quite happy to take that.

I thought HB was saying the positive responses are making him look dim?

Anyways, the increase when we were promoted was perfectly reasonable when placed in the context of how long they had stayed the same

It wasn't the increase that I was having a pop at but the disparity between the increases between the two offers (ie when promotion wasn't a certainty and when it was).

To all those who have come back saying that the increase in sales is as a result of the tail end of the season - precisely. The trouble is that the STGs in Apr/May were not (mostly going on about performance. The 'reason' the ST sales would lower was cited as being the club's attitude to its fans. There were a few of us (not RTGs - simply realists) who believed that a reasonable latter part of the season would reap rewards. It did.

Not really sure what you're trying to say there.

People were moaning about the change in policy on renewals and a few said it could/would prevent them from renewing.

The run of form and prospect of Premier League football provided a boost to ST sales.

The end result is a net rise of 7% in season ticket sales. I don't think that has anything to do with the shift in renewal dates but everything to do with the teams performances and the potentially good value Premier League ST if purchased last season.
