Who's read "Fever Pitch" by Nick Hornby? I remember him describing a banner seen at Highbury during the George Graham 1-nil years.

"George Knows"

And how to him, the young Hornby, it made absolute sense. The selections, the tactics, the transfers, the substitutions.

Not often that a manager reaches that position where you just trust.

To me, Brian is there now. Whatever happens tonight, we can trust. Brian will get us over the line.

More, dare I risk saying it, than we did even in Sir Steve (remember the substitutions?).

Brian knows.

In Australia, 3.30 am. Woken up four times already during the night. Last time I couldn't sleep I missed the first half of the game, got updates on the second from BBC sport and only remembered to turn on the Telly for the last two minutes. Should I tempt fate and try and sleep for an hour or should I get up now?

No Hoops If Ipswich and Pompey can get draws I see no reason why we can't either.

I'm going for a 1-3

Hunt 2
Harte 1

So a 3-1 away win is the new draw?????? Well it doubtless would be if Sham had anything to do with it

Can't see the point of having Church, ALF, and Afobe all on the bench, leaving Brynjar as cover for all the other positions bar GK.

Yeah, I'd rather have Cywka in there instead of Church.

I suppose the thinking is that there's a lot of versatility in the starting 11. Mullins, Tabb and McAnuff could fill in at full-back, Hunt could go RM, etc.
