This.

I'd rather have Di Canio.

More racist but far less smug.

Massive no from me - backward step from McD plus is a smug twat and we've had one like that in Pardew.

An improvement on DiCanio - but I'm out!

Suddenly we might get Adkins and suddenly everyone hates him. I don't understand.

We can all wax lyrical about Adkins, but he spent a shed load of money and barely achieved anything more than Reading have done this season. McDermott outfoxed him last season, and would have done over the long course this season.

If Adkins reads this he should tell AZ to get lost if that's the way he sees managers . http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... er-1772284

We can all wax lyrical about a guy who achieved wonders at Scunny, took Southampton to 2 promotions in 2 seasons, and then kept them outside the relegation zone before being very harshly sacked. All whilst cultivating a young squad who play excellent football?

Cheers.

+1. Honestly some people.

Coppell is mentally shot to fcuk. Would rather have McD back.

(Not to mention Parky as 1st choice) Great idea!

As someone has already said, Southampton did a double promotion meaning a lot of their team was essentially from League 1. Besides, they're above us right now, aren't they, and if they survive it's money well spent.

Yeah, Pardew was shit for us and never amounted to anything.

They were hardly playing excellent football, we beat them 3-1 last season and they were defensively abject this term.

Don't really want Adkins and I don't like that this is a new thread when there's already about 30 so I don't believe it.

Anyway I saw Murty at the stadium yesterday along with SJM

Oh come on. Us beating them was the definition of smash & grab last season. They were and are technically superior to anything we can offer. They were actually turning the corner with Adkins before he got the boot.

So Adkins is coming then

Murty refused to talk about Adkins on BBCRB this morning when asked as well.

Luckiest 3-1 in history. Played us off the park this season. Defensive frailties but very good going forward.

Excellent record in the game, and anyone who thinks he's anything other than a very good young manager needs a serious head examination.
