Agreed, the rules of the game only allow the players on the pitch to take the penalties and number 13 wasn't even in the squad.

I would have been sh*tting myself but if I thought that by hitting the target I could sent us to the PL and end our Playoff Jinx then I might have done. Let's face it, not that much to lose as everyone expected us to lose anyway!

And that's no criticism of those who did step up to take them.

I think that even I would've at least hit the target for #4

Any argument that involves comparing what an elite sportsman is paid to do to how a random pleb would perform in the same conditions is hilariously stupid.

But. I can safely say that the number of people watching, or location, would have no impact on my ability to score a penalty against a professional goalkeeper.
