If the away fans have any pride, they'll be singing "Are you Pompey in diguise"?

LOL @ Frodo fighting.

3-0, f*cking hell.

At this rate Coppell will be gone before January.

if as a manager you think your defence is weak then especially away from hom you put 5 on the back row

leon i'm not saying that i necessarily disagree we shoudl have replaced sidwell and littlw. its just every time we go down you start jumping up and down saying 'told you so...look at me, look at me' It's tiresome

It works both ways. What I personally find tiresome is being shot down as a 'negative pessamistic miserable bastard' every time I comment after games about problems at Reading. A lot of fans on here have been telling us that 'things are going to get better' for a long time now.

So yes, 'I told you so'.

I don't get this whole we are guaranteed relegation and whipping boys comments. If we were bottom and not in touch then fair enough. But we're not. We're in deep trouble, but seeing as none of us can actually affect anything why all the pointless doom saying we haven't got a chance.

We have plenty of chance of staying up. Hope for the best and enjoy what you can while you can. Wallowing in misery isn't going to help anyone.

I don't think anyone has said it is guaranteed. I think we will go down. It will certainly require massive changes for us not to. My concern at the moment is that we will be bottom three in January, and low on morale and confidence. I don't personally think we will have any way back from there.

I hope not. I can't think of another manager we could get, who would be good enough to get us out of this.

Coppell's mistake has been not strengthening in the summer. No other manager could bring anyone else in unil January, so I think we should give Coppell a chance to get it right.

It's all the PL's fault - making our poor professionals travel all that way to Blackburn after the international fixtures!

A definite conspiracy - our poor form has nothing to do with failing to sort out our wages policy, failing to compete in the transfer market, failing to strengthen our squad, failure to make sure we had at least one fit specialist right winger etc. and everything to do with the fixtures!! Desperation!

Fae's not doing much in the middle. Is "being by-passed" according to Gooding, in both defence and attack. Though he can't be alone.

It's all still very might be though isn't it. It's just as might be that we could win a few and stay outside relegation. Writing off Sonko on his first start against a good team is stupidly negative. We're still playing wirthout two wingers. We're likely to see an improvement when we can start playing two again.

Frankly having seen us get relegated from Div 1 and then hang around the bottom of two I don't see what all the problem is. We've looked far worse and stayed up before.

I'm still enjoying being in the premiership. Thanks very much.
