I'm as pleased as anyone that it looks like Hunt is going as he's costing us 30k a week and clearly no longer gives a stuff about us.

However, those who've never credited him with any ability despite the impact he made in the Prem and the fact he's still in the Irish squad might be in for shock if/when he does the business for Hull.

Has he lost what talent he had or has he just been going through the motions with us? Either way it's good news he's going and a real shame he's leaving with most fans celebrating his departure.

Sad to see him go...............NOT

For a freebee he was pretty good but, he became a typical overpaid arse. Kitson is of a similar mold. When they're hungry and young fantastic, soon as they taste the high life they lose it.

Now, lets get on with our new era and live the dream with the Young, hungry youngsters.

By the way Hull, not exactly an EVERTON etc are they

Tony Le Mesmer
Platypuss
Deathy You have to laugh at HuLOLOL thinking this is a big signing.
You also have to laugh at how we're celebrating him finally going.

PhiLOL BROFLown
HuLOLOL City

If it's more than £1.5m then they have been well and truely raped. You just know it'll be something ridiculas like £3m though.

If they can get him playing like he did in our first Prem season, who'll be laughing at a fee of £2M?

^Agreed. Anyone would think we'd just flogged em Bas Savage.

We have no more done that than we have flogged 'em the Hunt circa three seasons ago.

He won't reproduce that form. He is no longer capable. He's too comfortable, everyone knows his game and he's over his peak pace-wise. Might be worth a few points on the old fantasy football system, though, for assists from free-kicks and corners.

Don't you have to play to score points in FF?

'greed. Glad to see him go, but not worth getting personal about it, or forgetting the fact that he was a key part of our best ever squad.

If any Hull fans are reading this, think of how Dave Kitson's and Nicky Shorey's careers have gone. They were very good whilst young and hungry with something to prove. They then got a taste of success, let it go to their heads, lost themselves, as well as being sussed out by opposition. They were also both part of a team where the sum of components was so much more than its parts. I can't think of a single player from that Reading side who has produced football to match the standard of 05-07 in any other period of their career. They have never been able to reproduce their form. S Hunt is exactly the same and it will become all too apparent after a month or so.

Hull have already missed out deals for Bobby Zamora, Daryl Murphy and Fraizer Campbell this summer after agreeing fees.

How much has he cost Hull? Anyone know?

Hull is reasonably near Bradford. Funny if he went there on loan. :D

Does it REALLY matter how much it is costing Hull City? We have effectively removed £1.5m from the wage bill.

All the good he done was soon undone when he gave all those interviews saying how desperate he was to leave etc

it's like a girlfriend being nice to you for 3years but then cheating on you, spoiling everything.
