me and crossie spotted a "typo" on a sign
"coppell are god"
Was gonna give it the old "our, Yours Herr Lipp" but i think it wouldve been frowned upon.
And,
Hear hear!
it was "Coppell Is Are King"
Whoever did that is lucky i didn't catch them

premiership_bound He’s staying!

Fan power looks as though it has persuaded Steve Coppell to stay on as Reading Football Club manager.
The boss is taking a few days to decide his future following the club’s relegation from the Premier League.
But he has been touched by the loyal Royals’ “unique” supporters and dropped the strongest hint yet that he will be at the helm next season to try to mastermind Reading’s promotion back to the top flight.
Fans even set up a “Save Our Steve” group on networking site Facebook and scores of people turned up at the boss’s car park space outside the stadium yesterday to show their support.
The backing of Royals’ supporters has had a big impact on Coppell. He told the Post: “I was touched by the reception I had after the Derby game on Sunday.
“That wouldn’t have happened at any other club. They are unique and their response does have a bearing on my future.”
When told of the Facebook campaign Coppell joked: “Just as well it isn’t p***ing it down because there wouldn’t have been many there and I hope they know I drive a small car so they won’t fit many people in there!
“I can’t be there because my son is doing his GCSEs and I’m having dinner with him, but it is a lovely thought and sums up Reading fans.”

There isn't much in there that leads me to think Coppell is staying.
It sounds more like he's a had a breif phone call with Ive, made a typical Coppell throw away gag about the demo last night and thats about it. All the other quotes are ones from the Derby match.
Knowing what will sell the papers this morning Ive sells it as all as a "Fans Influence Coppell - He's Staying" story.

rhroyalSouthbank Old Boy He just said he was touched. No doubt if he does resign he will once again say some very nice things about us. Saying that, yesterday in my view wasn't an attempt to force him to stay, it was letting him know that despite this last season he still has our support, so if that message has got through to him mission accomplished I guess.
