SJM walks out on to the pitch...

SJM walks out on to the pitch doing the two-arm wave. Do you:

A. Applaud and sing 'There's Only One John Madejski'?

B. Applaud - after all we did get to the Premiership under him?

C. Applaud politely just because he's the owner so you ought to really?

E. Mumble 'tight tosser' under your breath?

SJM walks out on to the pitch...

How do you react?

Seems to me people have wildly differing views of SJM on here and a lot of people either love him or hate him. Back in the Premiership most people would be happily singing One John Madejski or at least give him a clap but now that SJM appears to be unwilling or unable to give any significant financial support has that changed?

Personally, I usually just go with D - how ungrateful.

Certainly not expecting it myself. Just trying to see where the opinion really lies... I'm expecting most of it will still be around the second third and fourth options...

A) should suit everyone as it's nicely ambiguous depending on your tone of voice.

Ok to clarify, don't choose option A if you sing 'there's only one John Madejski...thank god for that!'

Do nothing as normal, but roll my eyes when I hear booing.

Be surprised that none of the Academy youngsters were thought to be a better choice than our ageing figurehead.

He quite often popped through the hotel bar on match days but surprise surprise that has not happened for ages. If he did I would ask him if Cilla takes up the **** just to make conversation. Too peed off to ask him about the team.

Anyone thinking of booing John Madejski is a total cretin.

I'll throw him a cloth and some scissors. It'll keep him busy while the team is still intact

B and E. I appreciate what he did for us, and whilst I can understand him cutting back his investment in us whilst his wealth dips, I wish he wasn't cutting back quite this much.
