What are your hopes for the next five years?

I would be happy if we continue to compete at the high end of the championship for the next five years. A couple of playoff appearances thrown in here and there. If we get to the prem that's good but it's not essential at all.

I assume we'll have a proper relegation fight one of these years but I think the club is in good shape and won't drop to league one...

Being successful top-half-second-tier - yes, promotion is always the goal. But happiness, hope, expectations are based on being in that top-half-second-tier battle. Twice the fun - chance of promotion and fear of relegation. (Any serious hope for more than that has to do with hope of big financial injection to sustain premiership lifestyles, not with football satisfaction on the pitch.)

It would be great if we continue as we have done recently: near the top of the championship; some great home wins; always a chance of the premiership.

Even though I have only come along since the prem times, I love the Championship. It is so much more fun than the Prima Donna League...

Of course it would be good to see Reading compete in said Prima Donna League, as in Australia I would be able to watch every game...

Top half of the NPC, hitting the playoff's every now and then. If we get promoted, great - if not - great.

If we get Relegated - I will stop following Reading, and go for a real team, like Arsenal. (My mate did this with Charlton as soon as he moved to London. He failed hard.)
