Team for Doncaster....

by Wycombe Royal » 12 Jan 2011 12:37

So what will the team be.....

We need to hope that Shane Long gets over the flu (he hasn't trained yet this week) overwise goals might be hard to come by.

Griffin back in at right back (if fit) or keep Cummings in the line up?

Same as West Brom. Cummings was harshly dropped last time he had a run in the team as soon as Griffin was back, this time he should keep his place.

After Cummings' performance against WBA, it'd be pretty unfair to drop him.

Cummings
Harte
Pearce
Mills
Elwood
Karacan
McAnuff
Kebe
Hunt
Long (If over flu, otherwise Church)

It's even more harsh to drop Griffin after about 8 good performances!! Griffin was rested, but he will come back in for the league games, it's a no brainer.

Snowball,
95% or so of those on here will have no idea who your left-winger is-don't forget for most of them "war" means Afghanistan,Iraq or ,at a push,Falklands.

Frankly, I don't give a oxf*rd about people who have never heard of Douglas-Bader.

I have heard from a reliable "sauce" he'll be on the team-sheet for Saturday.

Learnt his trade with the Spitfires

Snowball, have you not got some stats that prove we get more points per game with Douglas-Bader in the team? I'm not sure about this, but I think his goals ratio in open play is also very favourable.

I would like to see Harte dropped for Cummings. I believe both Cummings and Griffin are capable of playing on the left, but going with experience I would play Griffin as LB.

Griffin has to be in the team. Drop Harte for Cummings, he can play against the wing maestro John Oster.

He hasn't played for us yet.

Good player but I've heard he has a drink problem,
usually discovered legless most Sunday mornings
