Swansea allocation

by fester_royal » 21 May 2011 15:18

For no other reason than Saturday afternoon boredom ( I hate off season) I was looking at swans web site and noticed they're ticket allocation is 374 larger than ours.. I just wondered if anyone knew the criteria for allocation? Swansea isn't exactly a larger club, infact very similar to ourselves.. The numbers just seem to be plucked at random

It's based on average body weight - they're fatter than us

Is it because there are more seats on that side of the stadium?

Nah that's their razor crue. But judging by the video they will get lost, get kicked out and start a fight amongst themselves.

There is a conspiracy against English sides so that a Welsh side will make it to the Prem.

They're expecting to arrest 374 people before they arrive?

Not unless they give more tickets to the side with the lower gate. We got an average attendence about 2200 higher than theirs.

We have an access tunnel at our end at the front of the blocks, Swansea don't.

I doubt it as our average gate is around 2,000 more than Swansea.

The two halves of the stadium aren't exactly the same size - that's because of where the segregation is within the stadium.

The club that gets the home dressing room (the one that finished higher in the league table) also gets the gets the East end of the stadium, which is the slightly larger one.

So no conspiracy, just the rules and teh segregation.

I live in Swansea, apparently getting tickets has been a nightmare. People were queing up for 5 hours+ on Wednesday.
