Time for a 2-1 away win against the relegated Blackpool.

I'm torn. My predictions have been spectacularly wrong recently.

I'll go for a heavy defeat.

I think this is a difficult one to call. Should beat them easily but who knows how they will react to being confirmed as down. Not that it should have surprised anyone.

Worst thing that could have happened before this game was Blackpool being confirmed as down. Expect them to now be unrecognisable from the team they have been all season and actually be half decent as the players are free from any pressure bar impressing to earn a contract somewhere next year.

We have to score first. If we do, 2-0 Reading.

However, I can see a home win tonight. So will go 3-1 Blackpool - late Appiah goal for Reading.

I suspect it will be a win for Blackpool ,knowing what a shot shy, tackle dodging bunch we appear to have. Ought to be an easy win in theory. :?

If the weather is the same as last night, I predict the game being abandoned because of fog. From my hotel room I was unable to see the goal at the other end of the pitch.

I also predict that I will be very pissed by kick-off.

Its CHRISTMAS time for THE ROYALS, giving points away like there is no tomorrow. Please can we just go by normal procedure , HAMMER THE S.,.T OUT OF A LOWER PLACED TEAM.

SC will be secretly worried about this game. Like him or not his league results have been nothing short of appalling despite having some good chpionship players at his disposal and there is only so much hiding behind the FA cup run that he can do.

I'm going for 1-1 which will be a poor result however as above, the cup run will save him from criticism as usual.
